What Alex Will Do

This campaign isn’t about politics as usual. It’s about delivering real change for working people — not corporations, not billionaires, and not foreign lobbies. Every policy I fight for starts with one simple belief: government should work for us.

Affordable Housing

Expand funding for public and cooperative housing development — homes owned by the community, not Wall Street.
Push for a federal anti-gentrification zone program to protect longtime residents from being displaced.
Establish a Renter’s Bill of Rights: protection from no-cause evictions, rent-gouging, and landlord discrimination.
Expand access to low-interest loans and increased down-payment assistance programs to help first-time buyers overcome the financial barriers to purchasing a home.

Healthcare for All

Fight for Medicare for All — guaranteed healthcare, dental, vision, and hearing for every American, no premiums or deductibles.
Lower prescription drug prices through bulk negotiation and generic expansion.
Improve primary care access by supporting workforce development for doctors, nurses, and mental-health professionals in shortage areas.
Strengthen mental-health and substance-use treatment resources, including expanding crisis services and increasing availability of community-based care.
Fund rural and community clinics — especially in underserved parts of AZ-08.

Climate Action & Clean Jobs

Introduce a Desert Resilience and Jobs Act — to build water infrastructure, retrofit homes for heat protection, and create tens of thousands of clean energy jobs in Arizona.
Expand drought-management and long-term water-conservation programs to support sustainable use of Colorado River resources.
End subsidies to fossil fuel companies.
Support grid modernization efforts to improve reliability, expand transmission capacity, and integrate renewable energy more efficiently.

Protecting U.S. Democracy from Foreign Influence

Register AIPAC under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) to expose its role as a lobby working on behalf of the Israeli government.
End unconditional military aid to any foreign country that violates international law or uses U.S. weapons against civilians — including Israel.
Ban foreign-funded PACs and Super PACs from influencing U.S. elections through campaign contributions or attack ads.
Hold Benjamin Netanyahu and his co-conspirators accountable for crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Labor, Unions & Good Jobs

Pass the PRO Act to protect and expand union organizing.
Expand workforce-training and apprenticeship programs to help workers develop skills for emerging industries such as clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare.
Support portable benefits models for workers in nontraditional or gig-economy roles, including access to health coverage, retirement plans, and paid leave.
End “at-will” employment and replace it with just-cause protections nationwide.
Address the impact of artificial intelligence on the workforce by establishing clear standards for transparency, worker input, and accountability in the adoption of new technologies.

Protecting Social Security & Retirement

Expand Social Security by lifting the income cap on taxes for the wealthy.
Improve administrative support to ensure timely benefit processing and reduce delays for recipients.
Ban Wall Street firms from gambling with pension funds.
Protect Social Security funds by maintaining strict oversight and preventing diversion for non-program uses.
Guarantee retirement security for every American.
Increase resources for VA healthcare staffing, mental-health services, and specialty care to reduce appointment wait times.
Expand transition assistance programs for veterans entering civilian employment, including job-training partnerships and skill-translation tools.
